APPA 73 Digital Multimeter The APPA 73 multimeter is a True RMS universal measurement device, which means that it supports measurement of true mean square root values. The tool can perform a great variety of measurements, but is yet very easy to operate. All you need to do is select the measured parameter on the rotating switch and perform the measurement itself. Note that the device selects the measurement range automatically. The screen meanwhile displays a tip, explaining in what range the measurement is performed at the time. So, what is it that we can measure? The AC and DC voltage in the range of up to 1000 and 750 V respectively. The AC and DC current of up to 10 A. For high current values, the input A of the device comes with an overcurrent protection represented by the fast fuse. We can also measure resistance of up to 60 MOhm, test pn junctions and check circuits for continuity. Besides, the multimeter can be used to measure frequency of up to 60 MHz, capacitance of up to 6 millifarads, and, as I have previously mentioned, the mean square root values of current for the sine signal, RMS, and for arbitrary waveform signals, True RMS. The basic error of the device is 0.5 %. Of course, the multimeter has the minimum and maximum value measurement modes -- they can be activated by pressing the respective buttons - MIN or MAX.
